In the food industry, it is used as a moisture retention agent and quality improver, widely applied in meat, seafood, and dairy processing to enhance water-holding capacity, improve texture, and prevent fat oxidation. Additionally, it is used in the ceramic industry for slurry deflocculation, and in textile and paper industries as a dispersant and anti-settling agent.
